you guys.
u have to watch John Q.
its 2.51am according to my watch.
and yes, im just done watching that show.
and i am telling you, im gettin so emotional till now.
that even though the show's over and most probably fictional,
it draws the same moral and ethical conclusions.
Just like how other simple stories are made up for its values.
It taught-
there are so much that one can do.
there is so much deeper meaning one can decipher from the responsibility bestowed to him.
Like Denzel Washington who plays the role of the father,
he sacrificed his reputation, his life, all that matters-
to save a dying son.
cliche storyline you might say.
but the emotions that were evoked was priceless.
its not until u know how it feels like losing someone so dearly to you.
the one you have lived with for nearly the entire seconds of your life.
credits to him (Washington)-
for reminding me
what life is all about.
for reminding me
what my dad has done for me so far.
for telling me,
that amidst all hussle of life,
that i still love him dearly and that i miss him badly.
i will remember the tears u cried in the van,
when the world is going against you,
when you know time is limited.
but your faith, your beliefs
to tell me,
that no matter how hard life is for you,
he will see me going to a university.
despite being that fierce man u had always been,
i salute you for even the tiniest tears u cried in front of me,
just to tell me how much you care for me.
i have lived this much-so far,
just for you,
my dad.
and i love you.
